Becoming a Love and Logic Parent

Helping Services of Northeast Iowa is presenting a free parenting class titled “Becoming a Love and Logic Parent®.” This six-week parenting course, developed by the Love and Logic Institute, Inc., was designed to help you find specific answers and actions for some of those difficult moments in child rearing. These simple techniques are effective with all children, from toddlers to teens. The class is open to anyone involved in the life of a child. Extended family members, day care providers, and school workers are encouraged to attend.
A free light meal is served prior to each class and free daycare services are offered on-site during the class. Pre -registration is required and open immediately. If you would like more information or would like to register for the class, please contact Katie Becker at 563-864-7163 or by email at kbecker@helpingservices.org. Please indicate if you wish to use the childcare services when you register and bring all needed materials during the class such as diapers and bottles.
