"Rise Up Singing"-- A New Decorah Singing Group, Everyone Welcome!

Whether you are a seasoned singer looking for a place to raise your voice, or you have never sung in a group before and had always wanted to, you are invited to join Rise Up Singing. ALL voices are welcome—no audition, no performance, no singing experience nor practice, is required—just a desire to raise your voice in song with others for pure pleasure. We’ll sing uplifting songs from a variety of traditions, making singing in harmony enjoyable and accessible to all. Come to Rise Up Singing to sing, socialize, and relax – because singing is too important to leave to the professionals!
Winter session: 10 weeks, Tuesdays beginning Jan. 10, 7-8:30 pm.
All ages welcome, recommended for ages 10-adult. Group size limited to 30.
Fee: all proceeds will be donated to two birthing clinics in East Africa. Sliding scale suggested donation, $65-$100. Preregistration required; the first week is your chance to see what it’s all about, with full refund available if you decide it’s not for you.
