The 30th annual Luther College Entrepreneurial Showcase was held Tuesday, April 14, in Luther College's Peace Dinning Room. During the program, the Daryl and Audrey Erdman Prizes for Entrepreneurship were awarded to Luther senior Evan Sowder, junior Eric Tiller as well as Luther sophomores Patrick Larson, Gus Nelson and Lars Sorenson. Sowder was the grand prize winner of $5,000 with his company of Evan Sowder Photography.
Registration for summer recreation activities and swimming lessons will be taken from May 1 thru May 22, at the Park-Rec. Office. Get a pool pass at a reduced price if purchased by May 29. Office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday thru Friday. Register early for best availability as classes are filled on a first come, first served basis.

Adventure hikes, swimming, gardening, science experiments, art and theater fun all happening this summer at the Northeast Iowa Montessori School [NEIM] in downtown Decorah.
NEIM is offering two 5-week sessions of programming for children ages 3-6. The Children's House group will be exploring the great outdoors, our community and so much more! We will discover what the area has to offer through hands on learning and weekly excursions!
